If you can work out the line underneath the camouflage, this is the new Mini Coupé, the model that preserves the existing car’s wheel-at-each-corner look, but has a lowered roofline and even more of a go-kart appearance.
BMW calls the roofline a ‘helmet roof’. With the two seats, luggage space is expected to be large.
The standard models feature 90 kW (122 PS) for petrol, and 105 kW (143 PS) for diesel, while the top John Cooper Works model has a potent 155 kW (211 PS).
Production commences at BMW Oxford (the old Morris Cowley plant) in July, with sales commencing soon after.
