We hadn’t covered trailers for the Harry Potter films prior, but with Emma Watson a modern style icon, it seems right to showcase the final instalment’s promo below.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 has one of the eeriest trailers of any Harry Potter film to date. The trailer gives a tiny glimpse into the battle between Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and his arch-enemy, Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes).
The film, directed by David Yates (who also helmed Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince and the first instalment of Deathly Hallows), premières on July 17. Radcliffe, Watson and Rupert Grint return, as do co-stars Helena Bonham Carter, Jim Broadbent and Emma Thomspon.
A website, Pottermore.com, has also been launched to coincide with the trailer’s release, as has a Twitter account, Pottermore, which has attracted 45,000 followers at the time of writing.
