Alexandra Owen has relaunched her WD line into a full range of luxury leather goods. The WD bag was originally launched in 2008 when Owen was exploring adding accessories to her label. Bold cherry, navy, cerulean, and chartreuse feature in the collection and are designed to complement the season’s colours in Owen’s spring–summer range. New Zealand deer leather and sustainable oak are used to create the bags. Each bag is custom-designed and hand-made in New Zealand, ensuring the highest couture-like quality that Owen’s brand is know for. The bags come in a multitude of sizes and colours but our favourites are the clutch bag, big enough for everyday use as well as occasion dressing, and the oversize doctor-style satchels, big enough to fit all your work in while looking eternally stylish.
Coming off the back of its sucessful collaboration with fashion brand World, Number One Shoes is launching, for the coming summer season, a range of shoes inspired by the hottest looks off the current runways. Bright fioral prints appear on this season’s “it” shoe shape, the wedge, but it is anything but mumsy. Macramé and crochet make an appearance, tapping into the Zeitgeist of the 1970s—a huge trend for this coming summer. They are shoes perfect for swanning about when the weather is really hot.
For the more fashion-adventurous there is the World Made Me Do It collection designed by the creative minds behind the World brand, Benny Castles, Denise Corbet-l’Éstrange and Francis Hooper.
