World’s collaboration with Number One Shoes for this summer season promises to bring high fashion to the public at a practical price point. The inspiration behind the spring–summer 2011–12 collection, World Made Me Do It!, is all about the visuals of the shoes.
The designers at World, Francis Hooper and Benny Castles note that this shoe collection is truly all about fashion. The inspiration for each shoe started with an iconic woman with each shoe taking on the essence of that woman. In order to appeal to the eye as well as to the varied fashion tastes of women, the idea behind the shoes involve colour, pattern, luxury and of course, the sexiness of a high heel. An array of different textures such as animal print, glitter and metallic, ensures that the tastes of every woman are catered to.
