We know most of our media colleagues are reporting this as Wills and Kate getting broody shy of their first anniversary, but as a fashion magazine, it gives us some pride to report that the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing a Rebecca Taylor tweed jacket and skirt.
Taylor, whose first show at New York Fashion Week we attended in the 1990s, and who, like Lucire, has her roots in New Zealand, is one of the country’s most famous exports.
The royal couple were at a reception at Goldsmiths’ Hall to honour members of the South Pole Scott Expedition group, of which Prince William is patron.
While there, they were taken by three-week-old Hugo Vicary, the son Vic and Hanna Vicary, who were guests at the event.
