In entertainment news, Johnny Depp has arrived in Japan for another leg of his promotional tour for Dark Shadows.
Two child fans dressed as chipmunks got a treat as Depp stopped for them, signing autographs and giving each one a hug.
Depp plays Barnabas Collins in the re-imagining of Dark Shadows, directed by Tim Burton. It is the eighth collaboration between actor and director.
The UK première of The Dictator, meanwhile, took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Thursday, with Sacha Baron Cohen arriving in character as Adm Gen Aladeen of the Republic of Wadiya.
Looking glamorous on the red carpet were co-star Anna Faris, who noted that Cohen made each day at work interesting with improvised scenes, and Cohen’s wife, Isla Fisher.
The below video features Aladeen’s address from the flatbed of a truck, which transported him and his clamped Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder to the première. Larry Charles and Mohammed al-Fayed are also pictured.
