Cartier reopened its flagship Milano boutique at 16 via Montenapoleone on October 4, with a celebrity event headlined by Italian beauty Monica Bellucci.
Bellucci cut the ribbon at the newly renovated historical building with Bernard Fornas, president of Cartier International.
The building dates from the early 19th century, with the renovations led by architect Bruno Moinard, who works on Cartier’s boutiques globally. All four floors have, says, Cartier, a connection to Milano’s cultural heritage as well as its own traditions.
It is considered Cartier’s Italian flagship alongside those at rue de la Paix in Paris, New Bond Street in London and Fifth Avenue in New York.
The cocktail party saw celebrities including Kasia Smutniak, Isabella Ferrari, Marta Gastini, Roberto Farnesi, Eva Riccobono, Nadege Dubospertus, Marica Pellegrini, Ilaria D’Amico, Gerry Scotti, Billi Costacurta, Bermani Gaia Amaral, Elisabetta Canalis, Maddalena Corvaglia, Federica Fontana, Filippa Lagerbach, Giorgia Surina, Rosita Celentano and others.
