Non-French labels appearing at the haute couture shows in Paris are very rare, but Ralph & Russo has managed to get on the calendar for January 2014.
The Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, the official body behind the haute couture sector in Paris, has invited Ralph & Russo to show during the spring–summer 2014 collections.
In a release, the duo said that the collection promises ‘to be nothing short of spectacular.’
The label was founded by Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, and has become known for its high-quality, exquisite, glamorous couture gowns. Among its supporters are Angelina Jolie, Beyoncé and Dannii Minogue.
Ralph began her career in Australia and eventually moved to London, where she met Russo, who was involved in investment banking and music.
