A round-up of recent beauty news from Ardell, Covergirl and IceCream Sunscreen
May 20, 2022/11.11

Ardell knows that to be really comfortable, faux lashes need to be light, and its latest Light as Air range not only looks natural, but it has a soft texture and 50 per cent less weight.

They’ve accomplished this by creating hourglass-shaped fibres that look voluminous. There are three styles, all of which come with its Duo adhesive. Priced at NZ$16·99 at selected online retailers.

Queen Latifah has returned to Coty brand Covergirl as a spokeswoman, to bring greater inclusiveness, according to the company. She had previously been with the brand from 2006 to 2016.

Latifah will represent products such as TruBlend, according to a Women’s Wear Daily report.

Coty is posting gains in both mass-market and luxury segments.

Melissa Juried Kriebel, CEO and founder of IceCream Sunscreen (icecreamsunscreen.com), has made sure her products are free from harmful products. Her line is reef-friendly, water-resistant, animal cruelty-free, sulphate-free and paraben-free. The “flavours” sound divine, with original, vanilla, tropical, and chocolate, for the lip balm (SPF 15) and sunscreen (SPF 30).
