Left Our simulation of our Lucire Nokia Ovi app with our news items. Above Nokia’s screen shot of the new Lucire app.

Nokia Ovi logoWhile we continue to wait for Apple to approve our Ipad application (how many months has it been now?), Nokia, thankfully, has Lucire’s Ovi app ready to go after four working days.
For Nokia users (please note: this service is model-dependent) who would like to get information from Lucire—this section, our Twitter account, and our miscellaneous cheeky comments from Tumblryou can download our latest app from the Ovi store now, free.
The Ovi app does not replace the existing Lucire mobile service, which can be reached at lucire.mobi.
It’s not the first mobile app Lucire has had, though we didn’t use that term earlier this century. In 2000, Lucire launched Lucire Express, which took news items from the fashion, beauty and ‘Volante’ index pages for PDAs, and ran on Plucker. Needless to say, having been so early, it was not very successful. We expect very different things from our new Ovi app.
