Kylie Minogue’s K25 Anti-Tour celebrates the Australian pop singer’s 25th anniversary in the music industry—or, to be specific, 25 years since the release of her cover of ‘Locomotion’.
On her London leg at the Hammersmith Apollo on Tuesday night, she gave audiences an idea of what she wouldn’t be singing—namely her biggest hits (including ‘I Should Be So Lucky’, ‘Spinning Around’, and ‘Can’t Get You out of My Head’). The show, instead, concentrated on B-sides and some of her less well known numbers.
She wore a vintage Pam Hogg cap, a vintage Sigue Sigue Sputnik top, Dolce & Gabbana shorts and Balenciaga boots.
Tickets had cost £79 each but still sold out in 10 minutes.
Minogue, 43, dedicated the performance to Pete Waterman, of Stock Aitken Waterman, who had launched her in to the UK.
