There’s a spot of fun this season with Chanel make-up: the company has released a video where its make-up products turn into five robots that fly, jump and strike a pose.
It’s a huge departure from the sumptuous films that the Chanel brand is known for.
Peter Philips, Chanel Make-up’s creative director, said the inspiration came from robots that he made as part of a headpiece for a tribal make-up shoot.
‘I then had the chance to play with these characters and do an animation, that’s how my little robots came to life,’ he says in a release.
The animation is called Here Comes the Beauty Pack, and will be accessible from the Chanel Confidential website, ‘dedicated to Chanel make-up showcasing Peter Philips’ universe and creations,’ at the end of the month.
