Actress Keira Knightley talks about a scene in the upcoming film, A Dangerous Method, in which her character is spanked by actor Michael Fassbender, playing Carl Jung.
The period drama, directed by David Cronenberg and based on the book A Most Dangerous Method by John Kerr and a stage adaptation by Christopher Hampton (who also penned the script), deals with the birth of psychoanalysis and stars Viggo Mortensen as Sigmund Freud, with Vincent Cassel as Otto Gross.
Knightley jokingly says that before filming the scene, she told Fassbender, ‘If you touch me, I will kill you.’
‘He did remind me that I was tied to a bed at the time and really I shouldn’t be making any threats,’ she told ITN.
The film had received its world première in Venezia. The London première saw Knightley wear a Roksanda Ilincic dress paired with Salvatore Ferragamo heels.
