The storied Morgan Motor Company has released drone footage of its 108-year-old factory in Malvern, Worcestershire, where many traditional techniques in coachbuilding are still employed on its range of cars.
The footage begins in the original building, known as the 1914 Workshop, before heading into the chassis shop, followed by the assembly, sheetmetal and wood shops, showing Plus Four and Plus Six models in various stages of construction. At the trim shop, painted bodies wait, including a unique coachbuilt model. The drone passes the paint booths, to a special area used for the production of the Plus Four CX-T and Plus 8 GTR special projects.
The drone finishes its journey at the pre-delivery inspection workshop, where a finished Plus Four CX-T and a line-up of TOK 258-inspired models sit.
Morgan had welcomed 30,000 visitors to its factory before the pandemic. As UK restrictions ease, bookings are being taken again at www.morgan-motor.com.
