MAC Cosmetics has launched its Hello Kitty line, but as with many of its initiatives, charities will benefit. There’s a Hello Kitty cosmetics’ range for those who love the brand, while clothing inspired by it will be auctioned off on Ebay from Monday, February 9 at 9 p.m. EST (Tuesday, February 10, 2 a.m. GMT) to benefit the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York.
International bids are accepted and payment can be made via credit card or Paypal.
The clothing has been created by the world’s leading designers, including Blugirl, Catherine Malandrino, Charlotte Ronson, Dress33, Elie Saab, Emanuel Ungaro, General Idea—Bum Suk Choi, Giles, Hervé Léger, Kai Kühne, Kate Sylvester, Katy England, Manish Arora, Marchesa, Miro, Opening Ceremony, Qiu Hao, Rosa Cha, Ruffian, Sang Beg Ha, Shu-Chi Huang, Sinha Stanic, Tadashi Shoji, the Blonds, threeasFour, Vicente Villarin, Yigal Azrouel, Zac Posen, and Zimmermann.
A party hosted by MAC’s John Dempsey and V magazine’s Stephen Gan was held last week on February 5 with guests including Ciara, Lydia Hearst, Catherine Malandrino, Zac Posen, Richie Rich and Julie Henderson.
