Our good friend Thomaz has been in Ecuador to photograph fashion week there, and we have some shots from the event last month.
   Mean­while, we’d like to give Sharyn Steel’s Struggling to Fly a bit of a plug. Sharyn started off as the only woman journal­ist at a news­paper in 1969, and rose through the ranks to become a busi­ness editor in the 1980s. Her book, which is part-memoir, part-social commen­tary, recounts every­thing from sexual discrim­ination, an editor who sup­ported her, a politi­cian who made an inappro­priate pass at her in Parliament, a Secret Service investiga­tion, and more.
