O’Neill has announced that it will extend its contract with model Elyse Taylor through 2012, and have the model work on designing a new collection, O’Neill by Elyse Taylor.
Taylor will make her first international appearance for the surf brand at O’Neill’s One Way Runway event on June 9 in Ibiza, as a judge for the competition. Twelve finalists will model O’Neill’s Superkini, a bikini with 200 per cent more grip than a standard one, at the event.
The Vaucluse, NSW native will collaborate on the O’Neill by Elyse Taylor line, with a début slated for spring–summer 2012. There will be nine styles with high-end Italian fabrics.
‘Hues of grey and peach are prominent across styles, from bandeaus and sleek bra tops to specially cinched bottoms; and many pieces are meant to be mixed and matched,’ says O’Neill of its planned line.
