In the UK, YBF Beauty is back on QVC after a few years off. It hits screens shortly (2 and 9 p.m. today, then 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. tomorrow, July 4). YBF was a huge hit when it was last on the network, and is expected to be again.
YBF was founded by former Ford model Stacey Schiefflin. The programmes will last one hour each on QVC, with Schiefflin starting each one with a fresh face and hair in rollers. She showcases the various products in the YBF line.
Schiefflin learned her craft backstage when modelling for some of the world’s top labels.
Meanwhile, OPI has launched its Germany Collection, with the nail colours inspired by Berlin fashion and the rich colours and striking textures associated with the capital. OPI executive vice-president and artistic director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann says ‘The Germany Collection beautifully complements these looks, with stand-out shades in various hues of red and burgundy—the season’s “new black”. Sapphire, black olive and lime yellow are married with creamy neutrals in honey, taupe and nude rose.’ As with other OPI releases, there is no DBP, toluene or formaldehyde, and the ProWide brush is included.
The range hits shelves in New Zealand on August 8, at Farmers, professional salons, Life pharmacies, Kirkcaldie & Stains, Smith & Caughey’s, Unichem, Radius, Amcal, Ballantyne’s and Arthur Barnett. Alternatively, call 0800 144-562 within New Zealand, or visit Global Beauty.
