Nicole Scherzinger, judge of the US version of The X Factor and former Pussycat Dolls’ lead singer, has given an interview about her experiences on the hit TV show to date.
Scherzinger says she has been inspired by the show’s contestants. She also believes that the appearances on The X Factor have allowed her to connect more with her fan base.
Expectedly, she praises the TV show’s creator, Simon Cowell, who had moved her from co-host alongside Steve Jones to judge after Cheryl Cole was ousted.
Cole was originally chosen to be a judge on the US version after successfully appearing on the original in the UK. News of her dumping was met with negative reports by some media in the UK, who labelled the singer ‘Britain’s sweetheart’.
