Justin Bieber will follow in the footsteps of Rihanna and Mariah Carey by turning on the Christmas lights at Westfield shopping centres in Shepherd’s Bush and Stratford City on November 7.
The teen pop sensation will also perform four of his songs at each venue, including ‘Mistletoe’, a festive-season number.
Ten thousand people are expected to attend, according to ITN, including children from the Teenage Cancer Trust, Westfield’s chosen charity.
The Stratford City event will also be marked with a fireworks’ display.
‘We want to light up the capital and turn the world’s attention to London with Justin’s presence and make this an unforgettable event for his fans and our visitors,’ says Westfield’s European MD, Michael Gutman.
