Entertainment round-up: Katy Perry in Sydney, Elton John and Queen in Kyiv, Tom Cruise in Reykjavik, Miromoda video up
Katy Perry has landed in Australia to promote her new documentary film, Part of Me. She donned a gold strapless dress at the Sydney première, as shown below in the ITN video.
Meanwhile, Sir Elton John and the surviving members of Queen, as well as American Idol winner Adam Lambert, are in Kyiv, Ukraine for a free concert at the end of Euro 2012. The fundraiser saw the performers waive their regular fee.
Ukraine, which has a population of 45·8 million, has one per cent of its adult population infected with HIV. The concert was designed to promote safe sex, HIV and Aids awareness, and tolerance.
Actor Tom Cruise has returned to Reykjavik from a remote Icelandic location, where he had been filming Oblivion. As the commentary says, it’s business as usual for Cruise, despite news that his wife, Katie Holmes, has filed for divorce.
